12 Malaysian companies will participate in the Dubai trade exhibition | News Bharat


KUALA LUMPUR: Twelve Malaysian companies will participate in The Big Dubai 5 trade fair, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from December 5 to 8.

The participation of companies in the largest building and construction materials trade fair in West Asia is coordinated by the Malaysian Foreign Trade Development Corporation (Matrade).

“This year, Malaysian companies will showcase products and services in various building materials segments such as sanitary and bathroom fittings, road construction materials, electrical wiring and accessories, waterproofing solutions and material testing equipment of construction

“In line with the growing demand for green products, solar hot water systems and recycled rubber products will also be offered to potential buyers during the exhibition,” Matrade said in a statement on December 2.

Matrade Business and Construction Services Section Director Jamaliah Jamaludin said West Asian countries continue to be the core markets for Malaysian companies due to upcoming or ongoing projects by governments and companies locals

“Total global export of construction materials to the UAE was US$7.82 billion (RM34.33 billion), while Malaysia’s total export of construction materials to the UAE was US$76 million of dollars by 2021, illustrating various export opportunities for Malaysian building materials companies.

“The initiative to further enhance Malaysia’s trade with the UAE as an emerging market is in line with the aspiration of the National Trade Plan, which is to raise Malaysia’s trade competitiveness and strengthen its position globally” , added.
