C Hari Nishaanth is yet to play in an IPL game. In the IPL 2021 auction, Chennai Super Kings offered him his first IPL contract. The CSK franchise was successful in acquiring his services for a base fee of INR 20 lakh.

Hari Nishaanth has participated in 19 T20 games so far and has had 18 batting opportunities. The Tamil Nadu batsman scored a total of 393 runs at a strike rate of 120.18 in 18 innings. Nishaanth has been out of form recently and doubted his chances in the IPL 2022 auction.
