Adani Gangavaram Port & Adani Foundation organize a free Mega Health Checkup Camp | News Bharat


This mega health checkup camp is organized as part of our CSR program to ensure the welfare of the underprivileged from our neighborhood communities.


Visakhapatnam (India CSR): Adani Gangavaram Port, the deepest and most advanced port in Andhra Pradesh, in association with Adani Foundation conducted free mega health checkups in Gangavaram, Dibapalem and Jalari Pallipalem villages. The free health check-up camp was visited by eminent doctors of Vizag along with the senior management of Gangavaram port. The camps were visited by more than 450 people from Gangavaram and surrounding villages. Adani Gangavaram Port completed 3 eye test camps in the month of November.

Participants in the health camp went through a systematic screening process. persons were tested and treated for various diseases and consultations for men, women and children were made by the doctors and medicines and reports were distributed free in the camp. Nearly 200 people were provided glasses on the basis of ophthalmology consultation and distributed free of cost in the camp.

Speaking on the occasion, the management of Adani Gangavaram Port Limited said, “This mega health check-up camp is organized as part of our CSR program to ensure the welfare of the underprivileged from our neighborhood communities. Community health and development is a major focus and this is a step towards providing health care and commitment to the quality of life of the local community. This camp was organized in the surrounding villages in Gangavaram. They also advised people to use latrines, safe drinking water, nutritious food as well as maintain personal hygiene for the development of health. We aim to improve the health of the general public and such camps will help diagnose and treat the needy people.

Gangavaram Port is committed to community and societal development and this camp was a step to spread the message of healthy living.
