New Delhi: Sanjay Malhotra, a senior IAS official, took over as secretary to the tax department of the finance ministry on Thursday. Prior to that, Malhotra was secretary in the Department of Financial Services. He is a 1990 Batch IAS Officer of Rajasthan Cadre and is an IIT-Kanpur Alumnus.
