Head to Farzi Dubai this National Day and feast on the traditional flavors of Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist to mark the UAE holiday in culinary style. Available over the four-day weekend from the 1st to the 3rdrd December 2022, the four-course menu showcases the spectacular flavors of Farzi and takes diners on a journey through modern India through international cuisine.
Kicking off the celebrations in style for the greens, a selection of salads and chaats will include a fresh salad made with locally sourced kale and mango topped with crumbled feta and toasted pecans; and the social media-friendly Palak Patta Chaat: Vibrant green spinach fritters, pink beet yogurt and a mint-tamarind chutney create an exciting mess of sweet and sour flavors piled high and eaten like nachos. Appetizers such as the Lahori Paneer Tikka accompanied by fluffy pesto naan and the Murg Tikka Pasanda with activated charcoal hummus and cilantro pitta showcase Farzi Cafe’s tradition of clever culinary mashups.
Designed to be shared and savored with loved ones, main courses include a sweet butternut squash ghatta curry with chili rogan and jeera pulao; Afghani Pista Korma – a gourmet hybrid combining stuffed chicken tikka with pistachio sauce served with fluffy and fierce chilli naan; and a zesty lemon chicken biryani along with a refreshing vegetable raita. For dessert, the Farzi chefs have created a sweet dedication to the region with their ‘Oxid Phirni’ – a crazy (delicious) version of the traditional creamy pudding that combines sweetened risotto rice, sweet crumble and frozen cream mousse.
