Uthaan projects aim to create an atmosphere where the learning levels and intellectuality of primary school students will rise to the level as per the National Education Policy.


Dhamra: As part of Project Uthaan, Adani Foundation in collaboration with its project partner ThinkZone and mentoring partner District Education Department organized the final round of the Pratibha Anweshan (Talent Search) program yesterday at Sukkhand Manna UP School.

Screening of the program was done by the teachers and Sahayak among 3174 students of standards 1 to 5 in 46 centers of Utthan located in 3 clusters (Dosinga, Karanjamal and Paiksahi) of immediate GPs of Dhamra Port. Out of these 3174 students, 341 students were qualified and participated in the final round of talent search event – Pratibha Anweshan in Mathematics, Odia and English Spelling, Debate (Folk Storytelling), Innovative Projects (Best of Waste), Fashion clothing and group dancing.

Led by 35 teachers and 48 Sahayak – The community level volunteer of Uthaan Projects facilitated the event. Anup Ku. Das, CRCC of Karanjamal cluster moderated the event.

The day was witnessed by Dhanapati Manna, CRSS – Dosinga, Anhimanyu Nayak, CRCC – Paiksahi cluster, 40 teachers and prominent community leaders from the locality.

Believing in the fact that participation and activity based learning will contribute to bringing students up to par, Adani Foundation with the support of Mo School Abhiyan and SCERT launched the project in 2019 with ThinkZone in 11 AWCs and 17 Primary Schools in close proximity to the pilot.

After the success of the pilot, the project has now been expanded to 46 primary schools in 3 clusters such as Dosinga, Karanyamal and Paiksahi with the permission of the District Education Department in 2022.
