Dubai airports are planning activities to celebrate the World Cup | News Bharat

Dubai Airports is offering fans an array of exciting games, performances and activations as part of the World Cup celebrations at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC).

DXB and DWC travelers are being dazzled by the sights, sounds and colors of the quadrennial football showpiece taking place in Qatar. Activities include lively dance performances and flag parades on alternating days between DXB and DWC, adding a touch of color and bringing a festival spirit to the terminals.

Adidas, the supplier of the official ball of the World Cup, has a giant ball installation at both airports: in the departure lounge and family zone DXB in Terminal 3, and in the departure terminal at DWC . Fans can experience the giants of the game Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema in augmented reality by scanning a QR code at these sites. Visitors can also pick up official merchandise at adidas World Cup stores at both airports.

DXB’s Terminal 3 is also home to the amazing Game Space, the region’s first airport games room that recently opened. The space features 40 gaming stations, each with 50-inch screens and side-by-side seating for solo or multiplayer gaming. Located in the heart of DXB Family Zone at B Gates in Terminal 3, the facility offers travelers to turn waiting time into pre-flight play time.

To keep fans connected to the games even when travelling, JCDecaux has partnered with Dubai Airports to display live results of the World Cup tournament on advertising screens at key DXB locations. Football fans waiting for their flights can also enjoy live matches on the screen in the Terminal 3 fan zone.

In partnership with Dubai Airports, Careem is offering a 10% discount on all return journeys to DWC, with savings of up to AED 15 ($4) per journey for up to four journeys per passenger and month during the whole period of the world cup. – TradeArabia news service
