IFFCO has committed Dh1 million to help inmates in debt in Dubai’s correctional and punitive institutions.
Major General Dr. Mohammad Al Murr, Director General Department of Human Rights of Dubai Police, received Abdulghani Abdullah, Director General of IFFCO and praised the generous contribution of the establishment which reflects the true meaning of social solidarity, which helps prisoners in debt to start over. it improves their conditions, and solves their economic and social problems.
Major General Al Murr said: “Dubai Police always cooperates with philanthropists and charities to help this segment of society. We help prisoners and people facing problems for humanitarian reasons. The money can help liquidate the economic fees of the prisoners and pay their travel expenses after serving the prison”.
