A witness managed to arrest one of the accused and immediately reported it to the police
An Asian man has been arrested for trying to steal a central air conditioner from a villa. He has been sentenced to three months in prison and will be deported.
The man had five accomplices who are currently at large.
Last July, a resident of Al Muteena in Dubai saw people entering a villa near his home. He said he saw six people looking into a villa and then one of them cut a metal chain to gain entry.
He said he continued to watch the defendants until they entered the villa and then waited for them to exit.
As soon as they saw the neighbor present at the exit, they dropped the air conditioning system and ran away.
The witness managed to arrest one of the accused and immediately informed the police.
