Emirati pop star Alira will perform at Barrio Fiesta Dubai in December, organizers have confirmed.

The Take Flight hitmaker will join the star-studded line-up for the “Biggest Filipino Pre-Christmas Party” on December 3 at Zabeel Park Gate 5. Alira will take the stage at 3pm, followed by Filipino stars Angeline Quinto, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano. , AC Bonifacio, Eric Nicholas and Kyle Echarri who will be flying in from the Philippines for the party.

Alira, the Emirati countertenor whose videos of his flawless rendition of Filipino songs have gone viral on social media, expressed excitement for his appearance at Barrio Fiesta Dubai.

“I am super happy and excited to be with the kababayans first of all; they just bring so much joy to my life. Whatever celebration there is to celebrate Filipinos, I want to be a part of it. I want to see them happy and have a good time, and I’m excited to be a part of this Neighborhood Party that will bring people to Dubai and maybe other cities to come and celebrate Filipinos,” Alira said.

Barrio Fiesta Dubai “is a day full of fun activities and entertainment for Filipinos in the UAE,” organizers said. Doors open at 10am and visitors will have access to the funfair, food market and bazaar. Tickets cost Dhs35 and are available from Virgin Tickets.

Alira’s presence at Barrio Fiesta Dubai is sure to attract her growing legion of fans in awe of her rendition of hit songs with her counter-tenor voice. The full-blooded Emirati captured hearts when she debuted last December with her rousing rendition of Filipino ballads at a concert in Dubai with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and pop stars Yeng Constantino and KZ Tandingan.
