In a media interaction last week, the couple revealed that they have been in a relationship for about two years and will get married with their parents’ blessings.

Gautham Karthik and Manjima Mohan worked together in the 2019 Tamil film Devarattam directed by Muthaiah. Gautham revealed that they did not fall in love during the shooting of the film. But it happened a year later.

“We became good friends after working together in Devarattam. She was always there to pick me up when I felt down. After a year, I proposed to her and it took her a few days to accept my proposal,” said Gautham.

He added that Manjima changed him from a boy to a man. “My father used to say that finding the right person makes you a man, and that’s what Manjima is to me.”

Manjima confirmed that she will continue acting after marriage and has no plans to stop.
