Following the start of the much-anticipated Season 27 concerts, Global Village today announced that Arab superstar Nancy Ajram will be performing live on Monday, December 12 from 9:00pm on the Global Village Main Stage.
Chosen by Unicef as the first female regional ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa in 2009, Ajram is an influential contributor to the Arab music industry and has previously been named one of best female Arab artists by Forbes, and the best-selling center in the world. Oriental artist at the World Music Awards.
Best known for her hits ‘Akhasmak Ah’, ‘Aah w noss’ and ‘Ya tab tab’, Nancy Ajram has achieved global fame, having collaborated with international artists such as Marshmello for the single ‘Sah Sah’. Ajram has also participated in ‘Arab Idol’ and is a judge on the series ‘The Voice Kids Ahla Sawt’.
Nancy Ajram is the second artist to be announced for the Season 27 concert lineup after Myriam Fares, the Arab ‘Queen of the Stage’, captivated the Global Village crowd with her performance in early November .
Concerts on the Global Village Main Stage are open to everyone, with designated family and women’s areas so everyone can enjoy the Season 27 show.
