Mobile medical vehicle for bus crew flagged by TN Transport Minister | News Bharat

TN Transport Minister S. Sivasankar at a function on Thursday distributed checks to 1,241 employees of eight State Transport Corporations (STCs) who retired, took voluntary retirement and died while on duty at the Central Depot at Pallavan Salai. In total, 242.67 million rubles were distributed to employees.

Mr. Sivasankar said that 1,241 employees in eight STCs have received checks to settle their trust fund, award, surrendered leave and commuting allowance and allowance for those who retired, died or opted for voluntary retirement since May 2020 until March. 2021.

The transport minister also launched a mobile medical vehicle sponsored by Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) at the event. The mobile medical vehicle will serve the bus staff to carry out eye and other medical examinations and to raise awareness about road safety. The vehicle was donated by HMIL under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund as part of the Mission Chennai project.

Transport Minister K. Gopal, HMIL CEO DS Kim and Hyundai Motor India Foundation Trustee CS Gopala Krishnan participated.
