Applications are open for the online-only course taught by industry experts.
SAE Institute Dubai has launched its first fully online degree for students, the Bachelor of Design and Visual Communication. Applications for the degree are currently open.
The course starts in February 2023 and students will be able to learn from the comfort of their own homes.
The new eight-term degree provides critical skills essential for creative design, a portfolio of work and practical industry experience.
Training is provided in industry standard software tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD and After Effects. The dynamic nature of this program and the option to study part-time means that this course is not only for high school leavers, but also for working professionals looking for flexible part-time study options.
Speaking about the course, SAE CEO Jan Horn said: “SAE Institute is proud to introduce our first web-based program for students worldwide. The fast-paced and dynamic three-year degree is an opportunity to anyone to learn skills that will pave the way to new career paths. The AQF Level 7 course is fully accredited by TEQSA and is sure to give students what they need to bring their imaginations to life.”
This is an opportunity for students from the UAE and around the world to gain hands-on, real-life and industry-aligned experience through an online approach. A panel of recognized experts from the creative media sectors compiled the academic curriculum.
The institute also offers short courses for those passionate about creative media. Its upcoming winter camps offer students the option to learn about the world of artistic production. Choose from a variety of courses, including animation for pixel geeks, filmmaking for visionaries, design for creatives, games for technical fun, and more.
Winter courses are available for children and teenagers aged 11 to 17. Throughout the month of December, a series of practical and fun camps will be held.
