A shark has been spotted roaming the Persian Gulf between Dubai and Qatar.
The shark was filmed at sea and video footage shows a lifeguard signaling an unsuspecting swimmer who was close to the beast.
The gruesome scene was filmed by a tourist on the stretch of coast popular with kite surfers.
In the footage, the shark is seen swimming along the shore as onlookers line the beach and a lifeguard calls swimmers out of the water.
The shark appears to be heading towards a woman swimming alone in the sea and the lifeguard tries to alert her.

The woman seems to notice the approaching shark and calmly moves away before paddling back to shore while repeatedly looking over her shoulder.
The shark’s fin can be seen several meters behind the woman as she, and at least one other swimmer, make their way to safety.
The tourist revisited Kite Beach after the shark sighting and said no more were seen that day.
In a TikTok update, he said: “We waited and waited for the shark, and nothing came. However, they are patrolling the coast.
Kite Beach is normally protected by lifeguards and swimming is only allowed until sunset.
