Tata Consultancy Services: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has made its Quantum Computing Lab available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for enterprise clients looking to use quantum computing and its applications to solve complex business problems. TCS said its quantum computing lab on AWS will provide businesses with a virtual R&D environment powered by Amazon Braket, a fully managed quantum computing service from AWS. Braket will allow companies to test quantum algorithms on simulated quantum computers running on the AWS cloud platform.

Mahindra and Mahindra: Mahindra has reportedly recalled the recently launched Mahindra Scorpio-N and XUV700 SUVs. According to a report from CarToq, the company has recalled the SUV, citing a quality control glitch at the supplier’s end that may have affected the “operational dimension clearance” of the rubber bellows inside the clutch bell. The purpose of the recall is to inspect and replace the rubber bellows.

HCL technology: IT firm HCL Tech said on Monday it has signed a multi-year contract with Switzerland-based maintenance, repair and overhaul provider SR Technics to digitally transform its operations. Working with a network of partners and business development offices in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East, SR Technics provides comprehensive, fully customized MRO solutions for aircraft engines, airframes and components, including technical support to over 500 customers worldwide.

Kodak Bank: An affiliate of Kotak Mahindra Bank plans to raise up to $1 billion to invest in the data center business. Kotak Alternate Assets, a division of Kotak Investment Advisors (KIAL), announced on Friday the appointment of Subhamkar Das as chief operating officer of the “Kotak Data Center Fund Platform,” according to an official statement. The statement did not mention fundraising plans, but market sources said private sector lenders planned to raise between $500 million and $1 billion for the fund, which would be invested in the data center business.

lupine: Pharmaceutical company Lupine said Monday that its Brazil-based subsidiary has signed an agreement to acquire the rights to nine products from a subsidiary of Bausch Health Companies Inc. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary in Brazil, MedQuimica Industria Farmaceutica, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all rights to nine medicines from BL Industria Otica Ltda, Lupine said in a statement. It added that as part of the deal, MedQuimica will acquire the rights to products including Limbitrol, Melleril and Dalmadorm, which treat central nervous system-related disorders.
