The predator was hiding close to the shore when a shocked lifeguard had to quickly urge the swimmers to get out of the water immediately.
A woman who had swum out to a buoy initially feared the spinning shark had stranded her.
The lifeguard waved her hands to warn her of impending danger as the shark appeared to swim towards her.
