ELEVEN brings its bold and highly anticipated new menu to one of Dubai’s most iconic venues at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
Located next to the Park Hyatt Dubai, ONZE is a visual treat that has a beautiful art installation of flying birds hanging from the restaurant’s impressive 30-meter-high ceiling. Lush green interiors and a bold color palette representing the vibrant cultures of Japan and Peru create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
Owned and operated by two women, ONZE raises the bar for culinary creativity in Dubai. General manager Ghada Ajib is joined by acclaimed Peruvian chef Marissa Josefinna Vallve, who has previously worked in Lima, Doha, Hong Kong and Dubai at Asado and The Act.
“I’m really excited to design a menu that blends flavors from Peru and Japan,” said Marissa. “The dishes I have created are inspired by my travels and contain surprising ingredients such as salt from the mountains of Peru. When guests come to eat with us at ELEVEN, I hope they will be transported to other moments in their lives through my dishes.”
The fusion of cultures and cuisines from Japan and Peru has resulted in a dazzling menu containing standouts such as salmon taquitos, tuna tataki, ceviche and corn robata. Marissa is especially proud of the lobster tempura made with sparkling water for a lighter batter. He also chooses the vegetarian version of miso black cod, which is made with cauliflower that is marinated for three days. The standout desserts are the three leches made with milk from Hokkaido and sugar from Okinawa in Japan. This delicate milk cake is topped with a gold hand-painted meringue that diners are invited to crack with a small mallet.
In addition to excellent cuisine, ONZE offers a memorable party experience from sundown until late, with a line-up of exuberant DJs in residence and a stellar line-up of guest DJs throughout the season . A curated soundtrack of afro house, melodic chillout and disco turns the sunset vibes up to ELEVEN. Fascinating dance shows and other entertainment acts will add even more energy to the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Moving from indoors to outdoors, ONZE offers one of the most impressive terraces in Dubai. The 700 meter patio offers diners extraordinary views of the cove and the twinkling lights of Dubai’s signature skyline. Also seen are the greens and fairways of the championship golf course that transport guests out of the city and into a quieter space.
ELEVEN, the French word for 11, has a special meaning in Japanese culture. When the two digits are added, they make two, which the Japanese believe represents success and a fiery spirit.
