The international creative music agency’s latest expansion follows the opening of an office in Warsaw, Poland in 2021, alongside the company’s acquisition of Sydney and Singapore-based Song Zu parent Songtradr earlier this year.
Its venture into the APAC region sees MassiveMusic continue its commitment to expanding its international footprint by opening its 10th office, this time in the United Arab Emirates. Now also operating from Dubai, MassiveMusic hopes to expand its list of brands it has previously worked with in the region, including Qatar Airways, RTA Dubai and NEOM.
MassiveMusic founder Hans Brouwer says: “We’re absolutely delighted to start this new adventure in Dubai and the wider region, which has long been bursting with talent and creative ideas. We’ve worked with some fantastic brands over the years in MENA and we have established the agency as the number one leader in music and sound branding.
“MassiveMusic can now offer a global approach to the Middle East market, combining the creative thinking of a local team and the global strategy of a global music partner.”
Pierre Carnet, a former music producer and supervisor before joining MassiveMusic in 2020 as Director of Creative Development in the EMEA region, has been confirmed as Managing Director of MassiveMusic Dubai. He comments: “Opening our local business in Dubai brings us closer to our partners and customers on the ground, but also to the local culture and music industry.
“Instead of being an external participant, MassiveMusic will become a player in the evolution of local music and talent, the way brands approach music and sound, bridging the gap between the two. The music scene in the Middle East is expanding rapidly and we are eager to be involved in this exciting development, which is unparalleled on the world stage.”
