A video of a young American woman reacting to the call to prayers at the Dubai Mall has gone viral after it was posted by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In the video, which was shot in 2014, a girl in a striped dress can be seen holding a stuffed toy in one hand and looking around in surprise as she listens to the call to prayer from the mall’s speakers. “This is good”, he is heard saying to his father who replies: “This is the call to prayer. what do you think?”

After the video was shared on Twitter on Sunday, social media users have retweeted and commented on the video on various platforms. At the time of writing, the video has been retweeted hundreds of times.

Many praised Sheikh Saif for posting the video, praying that Allah will protect the nation. Others commented saying “SubhanAllah” (Allah is perfect) and “MashaAllah” (Allah willed), “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is great) and some praised the fitra (nature) of the little girl .
