According to DFRE, residents and tourists alike can visit some of the city’s most iconic locations on December 2 to enjoy the best views of the impressive firework displays and spectacles taking place across the city.
They can head to Al Seef at 20:00 to see the sky bright with the colors of the UAE and sample some of the traditional offerings from the market’s many stalls and restaurants.
The Pointe will host a stunning National Day fireworks and fountain show at 9pm also on December 2, with a whole host of activities taking place in the event square that are perfect for entertaining the kids.
You can also catch firework displays lit up at The Beach, opposite JBR and Bluewaters at 8pm, also on National Day.
Or you can celebrate UAE National Day with the Dubai Festival City Mall kicking off with a concert by artist Fayez Al Saeed from 8pm, along with a specially choreographed IMAGINE fireworks display at 21:00 which will light up the sky with the colors of the United Arab Emirates Flag, before ending the night with an exciting performance by DJ Bliss at 21:15.
United Arab Emirates National Day is celebrated on December 2 each year to mark the official formation of the nation and the beginning of the federal unification of the Emirates in 1971.
